Color ads more mystery and attraction to your bait. Thus, invest in colored bulbs for a better catch. Most people prefer using green or blue bulbs. You can vary the color choices to suit your needs. The more diverse you are, the higher the chances of getting more fish.
Some people make their own lights rather than opt to purchase new ones from the stores. This is not as difficult as you might think. The important thing is to have a plastic container, make a hole through it and attach the fishing line to the box. It is important to use a small light so that it becomes easy to lift it back.
Put your kayak lights in a bag and place it in the container. The container will have to be tested for air tightness. If put into the water bubbles come out, that means that, it is not tight yet. It will be more useful if you added more pebbles.
