Taking the time to detail the car's interior can also be something that many hobbyists enjoy. Typically, this means that all of the seats are unbolted and removed from the vehicle. The vehicle's carpeting is then thoroughly vacuumed and shampooed to ensure it is clean.

Once the car has been completely cleaned, there will be no sign of any grit or grime. There will have been no part of the interior that has not been thoroughly scrubbed, including the vents for the air conditioning. After applying cleaners to the dash and steaming the upholstery, the car will look practically new.

They can do most of the work right out of the family garage and spend weekends and evenings getting it done. Once it has been finished, many will find that they can make a sizable profit should they decide to sell.
