The Sunshine state has shopping, dining and entertainment that attract guests annually. Florida is a well known travel destination. This is usually proof to the many benefits of living in Florida.

Most of the state's borders are comprised of coastline. The Atlantic ocean makes up the entirety of the state's right hand side. After rounding the tip almost the entire left hand shares a beach with the Gulf of Mexico. Beach bums have chosen the area for their personal playground for years.

If the coast is less appealing, the Florida Everglades may have something to offer. They are a unique water way and swamp system that can be explored in a variety of ways. For example by air boat or swamp buggy, one can travel their sometimes impassable routes to see the birds and wildlife. The area also offers unique fishing opportunities.

Young adults and parents are sure to be pleased with the state's education system. For residents searching for in state tuition on colleges there are 11 schools that are part of the State University System of Florida. That's not all, there are 28 additional privately run universities.

Retirement communities make up a grand part of Florida's population. Many people choose this place for it's easy lifestyle. This can be seen via the state's abundance of golf courses. Gamers will find it hard to be disappointed as the area boasts more than 200 different courses. Not only that but many in this generation may find it a comforting fact that so many of their compatriots have chosen this state as a place to call home in their later years.

The state shares many reasons to make it a permanent residence. They have a large transportation system including buses, domestic air travel and railways. They also have several amusement parks to keep younger members of the family entertained. The benefits of living in Florida can be enjoyed by every generation.
