Feeding Lanes: Best Part of the River for Trout Fishing
Fly fishing or trout fishing in the river with the utilization of an ordinary fishing rod, you have to consider the spot where you are fishing since there are locations in the river where there are plenty of fish which they often called as the "feeding lanes". There are plenty of schools of fish that are found in these regions of the river since this is the part where the lures assemble. However, instead of using the term collected into these feeding lanes, the truth is that the lure is strained into these locations due to the current of the water.

These outside river bends are the common place that people usually do go for trout fishing.
2. Near the Big Underwater Boulders - Between the flowing current, you will notice in most rivers for trout fishing that there are big boulders. In this area, the trout will just spend less of their energy in opposing the current since the current at the back of the rock is not that strong so it is best area for them to linger for the food. Be certain that your bait has settled in the back portion of the big boulder so that the trout will be able to nibble it right away since the current is not that strong.
3. Near those Natural Tunnels - Most of the rivers for trout fishing have portions of the river wherein the width naturally becomes slimmer compared to other portions of the river. In these portions of the river, where it is narrower, the depth of the water is deeper and the current of the water is faster due to the pressure created. In this way, the trout will just wait for the food to pass through the natural tunnel going to the other portion of it with the help of the flowing current and they are usually at the sides.
Hence, to insure that you will never end up nothing in your trout fishing, you should consider doing trout fishing in these feeding lanes especially in environment like rivers.
