There is a wide array of auto hobbies that various people like to participate in. Some of these people like collecting classic cars, while some others enjoy acquiring models of their favorite cars. Some other automobile-related things people enjoy including car racing, displaying their vehicles and collecting interesting memorabilia about the auto industry.

There are some people who may like amassing a collection of classic cars. There are some cars that are purchased that may be in like-new condition with very low miles. Other models may not be in like-new condition and have to restored in order to be in showing condition.

Other people can not afford, do not have the space or the desire to collect full size automobiles, but enjoy acquiring small models of their favorite makes of cars. They may buy them already made or they may kits and assemble the models themselves. They might customize their vehicles by adding specialty paint or a custom interior.

Others like sharing their car collection with people at car shows, parades and other festivals. They usually find it fun to share their hobby with people and like viewing what other car collectors have on display. They usually spend hours washing, detailing and waxing their cars so they are in show condition before the event.

Some people would rather race cars than collect them. These speed lovers practice a lot and sometimes race their own car, but may also race someone else's car. The owners are often seen tweaking their vehicles and making repairs to help improve their vehicle's performance.

There are a lot of people who enjoy auto hobbies such as collecting cars or things related to cars. Some people enjoy displaying their collection for others to view, while other people would prefer to race cars in various contests. No matter what car enthusiasts enjoy doing, it is likely to be related to automobile in some way.
