By Wendy Racklave

Who doesn't enjoy camping outdoors? I know my family does. Gathering everything up and heading into the outdoors. Laying out your sleeping bag up under the stars and restfully sleeping at peace. Outdoor camping is the best!

The most pleasurable part of outdoor camping is being with your family under the night sky admiring all that is there and feeling at peace. We like to play who can name that animal or shape by looking at the stars and making things out of them.

All campgrounds have limitless activities for the whole family such as playgrounds, ball courts, volleyball courts, bingo, horse riding trails, hiking trails and swimming pools so there is never a dreary moment. There is so much to do that depending on the length of time that you are staying you perhaps not have time to do it all.

Every person loves to go fishing some people even go camping and only rely on what they catch in the stream as a meal. No matter where you plan your camping trip, you can rest assure that there is always a stream or lake near-by.

There are always a few items that you need to remember upon camping which is a grill, sleeping bags, toilet paper, tarps, tent, snacks, toiletry items, pots and pans and a cooler to keep your drinks or perishable items cold. Depending on the time of days you are planning on staying in the outdoors also depends on how much stuff you need to pack.

The more you go camping the more of an avid camper you will become you will eventually learn that you don't need to pack the whole house and kitchen sink in order to go and have a good time. Sometimes less is better when camping because you then understand how much you can live without.

Camping is a cheap inexpensive way to have a vacation and a great way to spend time with your family. Majority of the camp grounds you drive in and pick your spot, no reservations no hassles. Camping is peaceful, relaxing and affordable, do you really have a valid reason not to go? Camping is for any person young or old. Next time you need a break, pack up and go to the great outdoors!
